FAQs
Welcome to our FAQ Section.  Like all other areas, this section will always be changing and growing as our program grows. The initial FAQs are very simple and generic but as we go along I expect we'll add a lot more DriveWerks specific questions.
  • Q. What is DriveWerks about and what do they sell?

  • Q. How often will I get paid?
  • A. DriveWerks commissions are approved on a monthly basis.
  • Q. I've seen Merchants around that require me to earn $100 before they pay me. How much do I have to earn from DriveWerks before I get paid.
  • A. Our payment threshold is $25. For overseas affiliate partners we can hold payment until the check is larger if you prefer.
  • Q. What are return days?
  • A. Return days define how long between the first visit to a site and the purchase date that you can be credited with a sale. For example a 0 day setting means the purchase must happen on that visit, a setting of 1 day would mean a purchase within 24 hours of the first visit. We know that not everyone makes a purchase within 24 hours and research shows that it can take up to 2 weeks for a person to decide to buy a product. DriveWerks offers 60 Return days.
  • Q. What are Parsiteware and Scumware and why should I worry about them?
  • A. Parsiteware and Scumware are terms used to describe marketing systems that override and STEAL your commission.  These are generally operated from browser tool bars (not the Google toolbar) or other third party downloads, many times without full disclosure to the person installing the software, or hidden as part of a software bundle. As a strict policy DriveWerks does not work with these marketing companies and we highly recommend you do not promote their software.
  • Q. Can you offer reciprocal links?
  • A. Yes we do, we will be putting up a page especially to support these requests. All reciprocal links are to go from each parties (sites) links page direct to the home page of the other party (site).
  • Q. Do you work with rebates sites?
  • A. As long as the rebate site does not involve downloaded applications to perform sales and tracking, then yes.
  • Q. Do you offer coupons?
  • A. We are able to offer a range of coupons, some of which are free gift focused, others are discount focused. Please click here to learn more about using coupons.
  • Q. I have a non parasitic downloadable browser plugin, will you work with me?
  • A. Sorry no.  History has shown us that it is difficult to keep up with the changes in software and that it is safer for us to have a blanket refusal on plugins than accept any at this time.
  • Q. I see that DriveWerks is owned by Pelican Parts and they have a site. Am I credited for sales on Pelican Parts?
  • A. At this time there is no affiliate program in place for sales generated on the Pelican Parts website.
  • Q. I do CPC marketing. Can I use the name DriveWerks in my ads or as a keyword?
  • A. Sorry no you can not use the company name or variants of the name as a keyword in CPC Marketing. You may however use it as part of the resulting advertising text that appears.
